INTERPOL
Interpol has played a 2003 LIVE 105 studio session at the Metreon, LIVE 105’s Not So Silent Night 2004, and are set to make their BFD debut this summer. The New York City band’s sound harkens back to post-punk acts like Joy Division and The Chameleons. We first heard them as a LIVE 105 Soundcheck discovery in 2002. The band’s first two releases were critical acclaimed and commercial success saw their songs being used on televisions now defunct shows Six Feet Under and The OC. They also opened for The Cure in 2004 and their as of yet untitled third studio album looks at a possible release in July. |
